Reach the core of a Cauldron and access its information. Check the Machine Catalogue category in your Notebook to keep track of the machines you’ve come across and used your Focus on. Encounter and Focus scan every type of machine. Scale all the Tallnecks and access their information. Scaling them makes for some beautiful sights, too. Tallnecks will allow you to see an entire region on your map. Scale a Tallneck and access its information. Take back all settlements from the bandit clans and free the hostages inside. Eliminate all bandits in a camp and you’ll have this trophy. Take back a settlement from a bandit clan. The trophies listed here are based on the ones that focus on combat. Horizon Zero Dawn is filled with both story and combat focused sidequests. Horizon Zero Dawn Trophy Guide – Sidequests Kill at least one of every machine in the Transport class. Kill at least one of every machine in the Combat class. If you need to learn how to override more machines, tackle some Cauldrons – they’ll allow you to learn how to override more mechanical creatures.
Unlock and use the overrides for 7 different types of machines. Once you do, you’ll be able to use these heavy weapons in order to deal more damage. Detach 5 heavy weapons from machines during combat. Exploit their weakness and kill them while they’re burning or frozen. Use your Focus to identify a monster’s weakness and see if they’re weak to either fire or ice. Kill 10 machines weak to Fire while burning, or weak to Freeze while frozen. Do this for 10 components and you’ll have your trophy. Then, attack those weak points enough to tear them off. This will require you to use the Focus to highlight a monster’s weak points. Detach 10 components from machines during combat.
